ABOUT ANNETTE ESSEY


Annette Essey, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., NCCAOM, is a nationally board certified licensed acupuncturist. In 1997, she received a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the first masters granting institute in acupuncture in the country—the Tai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts in Columbia, Maryland. And in 2003, she became a Diplomate of Acupuncture through certification with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

In addition to being a licensed acupuncturist, Annette is also a Maryland certified public schools' health educator. She has spent her life and career devoted to the health and well-being of families through the school, health, and political systems.

Annette enjoys contributing to the community through various media and is currently working on a book titled Simple Happiness, wisdom teachings through the ages.

She can often be found outdoors writing or just simply enjoying the peacefulness of the surroundings.
